Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. The actress has won praise by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an environment that was artistic. When she was an assistant to photographers, she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. She was noticed in her two first films and received Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw was a worldwide superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. Within three years, she had been voted as the most popular female box-office participant in the entire world. The Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature with handprints, foot prints and handprints in 1972. Other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers was released. MacGraw was married three occasions.
