Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, singer and performer well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. Her first music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise first appeared in Hollywood as Griselda Walden, in God's Big Acre, a drama from 1957. The film was hugely popular and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship to Lee Strasberg. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary, although she made a mark as an effective television director in several series including Supernatural & The 100. Born on 28 August 1965, in Essex. When she was 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent in the city for her entire childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the role of lead.
