Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam with Chinese ancestry while Winston Barrett Munn's family has roots deep in the American South. Olivia was 2 years old at the time her parents separated. She is now raised by her mom and stepfather. He is an United States Air Force soldier. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan, even though the family moved around a lot. In Japan, she acted as an actress at local shows and eventually was a Japanese models for fashion. After the family returned to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her ambition of becoming an actor. Following a series of minor roles, Olivia found success in her first major role in the role of Mily Acua on the Hawaii filmed TV program Beyond the Break 2006 and the role of receptionist for Rob Schneider. She is the host of G4's podcasts "The Daily Nut" along with "Formula D". She enjoys surfing and has been practicing since watching the tv show Beyond the Break (2006). Also, she is a black belt in taekwondo. Her mother got married at the age of two years old, to an Air Force official. Though the family had moved several times, the majority of her time was spent in Tokyo Japan in Japan, which is the area that her stepfather was employed by the military. The university she attended was her at University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major, with minors of Japanese and drama art.
